The International Master Program in Global Finance (IMF) was established and began the recruitment process in the academic year 2015-2016. It officially commenced operations in the academic year 2016-2017, with a total of nine international students from different countries. Each year, the program receives applications from up to 30 international students, and the number of admitted students has been steadily growing and stabilizing over the years. In compliance with regulations set by the Ministry of Education, starting from the academic year 2020-2021, the program has appointed two full-time faculty members to provide more specialized and comprehensive services to international students, including academic guidance, assistance with coursework challenges, and career orientation.
To date, the program has attracted more than 40 international students around the world. Most of our alumni are engaged in finance-related industries and some serve as professional managers. Furthermore, several international alumni have decided to deepen their roots in Taiwan after being recommended by professors, and their remarkable achievements have been widely acknowledged. With these outstanding performances of our alumni, we firmly believe that the program will continue to grow year by year and cultivate more talented students in the field of management education.
